This is a casual informal BIL outside, in the park at or beside the beach.

What is BIL?

Perhaps its best described by a slight play on the famous story of six people and the elephant.

A Jain version of the story says that six blind people were asked to determine what an elephant looked like by feeling different parts of the elephant's body. The blind person who feels a leg says the elephant is like a pillar; the one who feels the tail says the elephant is like a rope; the one who feels the trunk says the elephant is like a tree branch; the one who feels the ear says the elephant is like a hand fan; the one who feels the belly says the elephant is like a wall; and the one who feels the tusk says the elephant is like a solid pipe. Continue reading...

• --Volunteers Meeting 5:30pm at the space, 560 Seymour st. for a walk through and logistics talk. Come on down--  

WHERE:

• Club 560 - Downtown Vancouver, 560 Seymour St, Vancouver, BC V6B 3J5

WHEN:

• March 22nd and 23rd: 10 AM to 6 PM (plus afterhours high-jinx around Vancouver!)
•  Setup March 21st at 4PM-ish with party afterwards.

WHO:

• Open to all! Register via Eventbrite 

COST:

• Free, but donations are helpful. Labor/participation is required.

Artists Wanted

We will be presenting art submitted  on the walls and screens of Club 560 during the event. 

Please submit your art to derek@fileservers.ca 

All media types are welcome but need to be submitted in digital form to fit the projection medium.

Themes to consider, (but not restricted to): Abundance, BIL, Unconventional beauty, Unconventional thought, Unconventional behavior, sustainability, cooperation, Vancouver.

Please include artist name or pseudonym on the artwork itself. 

Format 1080p or 4K preferred.
