Simone Syed is a BIL co-founder and community builder. She spends her time running startups in San Francisco, bridging the gap between science fiction and reality, engaging the space community with LA Space Salon, lusting after BitCoins, making healthy IceCream called PaleoDream, and forecasting the next major trends in Technology and Innovation.
"Double-fisted gun-toting vixen. Let it be known!" |
Alexis Bright This is Alexis' 4th BIL. She holds a part time position as Office Manager at Voxer.com, is working toward licensure as a psychotherapist, and is an Event Coordinator in her spare time. Clearly the ax, and that he actually owns a tux are why he is Master of Ceremonies for BIL. In addition to being a BIL co-founder Reichart can be found on TV hosting History Channel's Invention USA. Currently he spends his time between his compound in Maui, where he "actually" goes for long walks on the beaches, and his ranch in Los Angeles, where he has his laboratory.
|
Arianna Armstrong writes bios that are way too long. She also writes other stuff, and does marketing and social media strategy, specifically for the food and wine industry. She has a graduate degree in Psychology, but drinks professionally. Go figure.

Michael Cummings is one of the original members of BIL team from 2008. He is a professional photographer, avid traveler, technology consultant, and team player. When he's not out changing the world, he's probably doing something to improve his own life. He is fascinated with politics and religion, yet he is neither political or religious. He enjoys a good sci-fi flick, and thinks a lot about what his life is going to be like 30 years from now if he doesn't mortally injure himself doing any number of dangerous things between now and then. |
Cameron Colby Thomson is the only human to attend every BIL and TED since 2008. He is working on solving problems in insurance and healthcare with his group at www.alliedstrategy.com. He used to be a Director of Strategy at the Singularity Institute and can still be seen behind a variety of various covert future targeted organizations, doing various covert future targeted things. |

Scott DeRoy. There is more to him...just ask. He remains mysterious until you get to know him. Then you will find out that he is a member of HIke the Geek, a futurist, a sci-fi (both books and movies...some tv) geek, also attends Comic-Con, a health foodie, a writer, an entrepeneur in the entertainment and sports industry (his company TeamColors is now 20 years old), he enjoys being active - especially yoga, and he wants a puppy that will take long walks with him on beaches all over the world (an adventure that may require as many puppies as there were flippers). |

First time BILder, but working with my business partner Alex Rochestie (BIL vet) to create a live broadcast from the Queen that allows BIL'ders anywhere in the world an opportunity to experience, engage and participate in this awesome event.
Help?
If you are interested in contributing to the BIL Live Broadcast Show (equipment/technical know-how) get in touch with me or Alex. Experience with broadcast technology and|or Google+ Hangouts would be a huge help.

BILder talent Time Lord, Photographer, Professional Unfucker. "I halve problems".
Help? Friday night, During the event. Bringer of stuff we need.
Jonathan is: Awesome. He wrangles people, mediates conflict, takes great photos, spins fire and makes medical devices for a living.
In his spare time he finds geeks and nerds, socializes them, teaches them about the good old days of Science Fiction and sends them out in to the world. It's more of a passion than a hobby, really. Also- he loves the chaos of creativity and making awesome things (and order) from that chaos. I am a solution in search of a problem (and stiff drink).
