Good lord! Don't tell reservations if you are planning on having extra people in the rooms! The sales lady expects this and tells me to tell the group to keep their mouths shut. Unless, you like paying $15 extra dollars a head, that is....

The least expensive rooms on the Queen Mary, are inside state rooms, at $144.00/night. With tax, it works out to be 331.39 for two nights. That buys you a room with two twin beds, aligned lengthwise "toe to head, head to toe" just like the original berth. No windows. According to the rep. I spoke with on the phone, the rooms vary in size and shape. However, he guessed that the inside state room was about 150 ft2. When I asked about putting two people in the beds, and two people on air mattresses on the floor, he did not think it could be done without creating a safety hazard. For a group of 4 people, he recommended a family stateroom with 2 queen beds. Those are about 250 ft2 and cost $214.00/night. With tax, the cost for two nights would be $492.48.

Razib, check out the moBIL link. A bust that departs Oakland for Long Beach on Friday, returns in time to meet Monday morning obligations.

Correction: as intriguing as riding statues down to LB might be, in actuality moBIL is a _bus_. -laughs-

Razib, is that offer still on the table? Do you have space for two people? I would greatly appreciate it. I have been in town since Thursday and sleeping in the car one more night just does not sound that appealing any longer. haha Hit me up...979-277-2028. Gracias!

This is my first BIL and I'm ready to wing it. Looking to share a room with someone (I'm prepared to bring sleeping bag and mattress) so I can attend Sunday too! Besides, I plan on bringing supplies and will need to bring them back. 626-215-1778. FYI: I am coming from Azusa.
