| This document is a very quick right to the point overview of how to set up Twitter (even if you have never done this before), and get connected with the BIL event. |
If you don't have a Twitter account, it is REALLY easy to set up.
Go to www.Twitter.com, and create an account.
Once you have an account you can click [Follow] and select one or more of these BIL twitter accounts:
BILConf - (conference) this is a year round channel for major news, and the BIL Blog relay.
BILOrg - (organization) up to the minute information during the conference of the next speaker in rooms, and other timely information.
BILVol - (volunteer) a back channel for anyone volunteering to help during the conference. Need ductape, ask here.
Once you do this, you will eventually start getting small updates when someone posts (never more than 140 characters).
There are custom applications for most major cell phones.
